Purpose:
I am a visionary, determined, dedicated, transformational, and emotionally intelligent leader. I am an experienced and effective District Administrator, School Administrator, and Instructional leader. I have spent most of my career at the district level as an effective instructional leader. I use effective, data-based decision-making processes to improve teacher retention, instruction, and student academic growth. I am dedicated to implementing strategic programs and providing differentiated professional growth opportunities for staff. These efforts help all students achieve academic success. I am a successful leader, facilitator, and role model for students, parents, and staff. I possess strong communication skills to establish and support positive relationships with community stakeholders.   • My role involved significant contributions to the development of the school system’s personnel budget and school-based allocations, showcasing my financial acumen and strategic planning skills. 
  • My responsibilities included facilitating, assisting, and executing a comprehensive plan for talent acquisition and organizational development, all in alignment with the district's strategic plan, demonstrating my strategic thinking and execution skills. 
  • Designed and implemented a comprehensive Strategic Plan for Human Resources and assisted with the district strategic plan, demonstrating strategic foresight and planning skills. 
  • Interview applicants, review application documents, led HR Department efficiently 
  • Attend hearings/meetings related to certified personnel matters and conduct certified personnel conduct reviews.  
  • Oversee and assist Principals with certified employee personnel matters.  
  • Assist with recruitment, retention, transfers, and employee incentives.  
  • Interpret federal, state, and local personnel/human resources policies, programs, and procedures. 
  • Mentored aspiring school administrators and developed teacher leaders within the school. 
  • I updated the policy and worked with NCSBA on policies leading schools, and I completed custom updates. 
  • Successfully secured over 1 million dollars for several years by applying for a Safety Grant, as well as decreased the amount of spending in HR demonstrating effective financial management skills. 
  • Presented at the Center for Safe Schools Conference: Presented a Culture of Care 
  • Increased the Retention Rate of Beginning Teachers
